B I O

My name is Alfie Shipley, I am a singer, songwriter, multi- instrumentalist , composer and entertainer. I am also proficient in music production and this allows me to play and vocalise on my own backing tracks. There is nothing I enjoy more than bringing joy to people through my music. I started seriously performing at the age of 11 and had recorded my first album by the age of 13. I have already performed in a variety of indoor and outdoor settings and after busking for over 7 years, I have been able to upgrade my instruments and equipment. Now at the age of 18 I am seeking to play at more venues. I have previously played at schools, studios, community events, open mic nights, private events and care homes. I am looking to develop my musical career further by studying other aspects of music and media at college and by seeking new venues in which to entertain. I enjoy performing and interacting with my audiences and providing an enjoyable musical experience. My recent venues include the Spring Arts Centre in Havant and performing at the Petersfield Spring Festival, after which I was invited back for the summer event. Further to my performance at Petersfield I was invited to play at the Greatham Inn in Hampshire and again booked for further performances, including other venue opportunities.
